Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We use your profession/patient/caregiver status to assist in our marketing strategy this information is only used anonymously.

Third party links and social media
In order to effectively signpost we host links to relevant third-party organisations and companies both on our website and in our digital publications. We do not accept liability for third party privacy policies. If you have concerns, please refer to the individual organisations privacy policy.
We host Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Flickr, Google+ and YouTube buttons on both our websites and digital publications, some of which are our own and some of which are third parties. Please be aware that by clicking these buttons you are being taken through to these sites for which we have no control nor liability.
Security
All confidential information is stored securely. We store only what is essential and accurate information. The transmission of information via the internet or email cannot be made impenetrable. However, we have taken security measures to make your information as secure as we can. We have installed a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) on our website which encrypts all data submitted via our web forms.
Our Google drive is protected by two tier authentication and our database has an extra level of security.
What rights you have over your data
GDPR Rights
As has always been the case you have the following rights regarding your data:
- Individuals may have full access to any information held about themselves that is on our database.
- Written permission will be sought from the individual in question prior to passing confidential information on to other people outside the organisation.
- Access to confidential information is restricted to those within NRG Collective who have a genuine need to know.
- We may share your details with companies outside of NRG Collective Ltd for the purpose of running the business, for example our accountant and accounting software provider, and to comply with legal requirements for example HMRC and to other regulatory bodies to comply with law.
- Information gathered about an individual that is no longer required will be destroyed by deleting/ shredding.
- Individuals have the right to be forgotten and remove their data from our database.
- Individuals have the right to ask for their details to be shared with a third party, this must be done in writing.
